Marketing Assistant - Insurance

DOCOsoft, one of the fastest growing technology companies in the London Insurance Market, who develop industry leading Claims Management and Document Management software for Lloyd’s and Company Carriers are currently looking to recruit a Marketing Assistant to join its London team due to new client wins and continued success.

You will play a central part in the business and the role will include:

  • Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations.
  • Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships.
  • Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the industry press.
  • Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters and e-newsletters.
  • Writing and proofreading copy.
  • Iiasing with designers and printers.
  • Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials.
  • Contributing to, and updating, company social media feeds.
  • Maintaining and updating customer databases.
  • Organising and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions.
  • Contributing to and developing marketing plans and strategies.
  • Conducting market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups.
  • Evaluating marketing campaigns.
  • Monitoring competitor activity
  • Website content update.

You will receive on the job training to improve your skills in IT and Business. You will be given a lot of responsibility from the start of your career and will be rewarded for hard work and determination.

Providing outstanding service when dealing with external customers is an integral part of the role, as is having a strong desire to drive innovation and improve the way our company and its systems are perceived in the market. General London Insurance Market is preferable. The successful applicant must be creative, enjoy a challenge and be comfortable working within a busy, dynamic environment. Though not essential with the right background and experience, candidates are likely to be of graduate level. Strong numerical and analytical skills are key for this role.
