This, the Enterprise Network version, is designed as an advanced Client/Server product to be used by multiple users for managing documents on a computer network at a large departmental level where security and document volume are issues.
The DOCOdesknet Server comes equipped with a number of powerful Server tools to accommodate database administration and user management. There are two types of DOCOdesknet Clients available - FULL Clients that have the ability to add documents to the system by scanning or file import and LITE Clients, which provide a simple interface to the database to view, search, print, fax, and e-mail documents.
DOCOdesknet uses an MS-SQL database and incorporates inbuilt security to control user logons and restrict access to sensitive documents.
