This, the small business edition of our Enterprise Network version, is designed
as an advanced Client/Server product to be used by multiple users for managing documents on a
computer network at a departmental level where security and document volume are issues.
The DOCOdesknet SBE Server comes equipped with a number of powerful Server tools to
accommodate database administration and user management.
There are three types of DOCOdesknet SBE Clients available:
FULL Clients that have the ability to add documents to the system by scanning or file import.
LITE Clients which provide a simple interface to the database to view, search, print, fax, and e-mail documents.
WEB Clients that can access information over the internet/intranet.
DOCOdesknet SBE uses a Microsoft MSDE database, which is based on the MS-SQL database but is easier to implement and
there is no extra cost for the database. The solution incorporates inbuilt security to control user logons and restrict access to sensitive documents.
